Philippines – A group of twenty (20) individuals which included seven (7) Global Impact Disaster Relief staff went to the first government-established Transitional Community for 420 IDP families last October , 2017 to deliver the goods that were raised during the month-long celebration of Peace Month in September.


A Global Impact staff poses with the recipients of goods which included electric fans, dignity packs, and food at the Transitional Community. Behind them are tents serving as their temporary shelters and vegetable gardens from where they gather food.

Smaller kids had a fun time coloring, some with their moms’ assistance.
Bigger kids had fun playing games, assisted by Global Impact staff and local interpreters.

Global Impact handled the Psychosocial Activities for more than 200 children through game therapy and art therapy. Snacks and kiddie goodies were also distributed to the children.
