When their living conditions became such that they were in danger, the girls were placed at Living Pearl.
They showed signs of having experienced trauma and at first did not want to eat or play.
The younger sister did not speak and was terrified to bathe in the shower. With lots of patience and love we began to see signs of hope. They are continuing to improve and adapt – playing, eating, and smiling – the best gift for us to see!
We know that over time, their fears disappear, and they become healthy!
Living Pearl Children’s Home is a refuge for them and for many children. A home where they find stability, safety, security, an abundance of love and a hopeful confidence in the future!
