Fight Human Trafficking Advocacy Project Concludes Successfully

Davao City, Philippines – The Inter Agency Council Against Trafficking in Davao Region recently concluded its 2017 Songwriting and Music Video Making Competition that was aimed to produce an effective material that can be viewed and shared in various media, especially online. Launched during the observance of World Day Against Trafficking in July 2017, the said competition had 11 entries coming from across the region.

With Global Impact heading the Technical Working Group for the project, Screening and Judging were held to select the Top 5, which then were launched online for voting from November 15 to November 30, 2017. With the results of judges’ scores and online votes, winners were announced last December 4, 2017 at the Abreeza Mall where the winners also performed their compositions live. Also performing at the event were the Philippine National Police Band, National Bureau of Investigation Band, Armed Forces of the Philippines Band and the Global Impact Band.
