Many times when a child comes to the orphanage, they have been severely neglected and in need of medical attention.
Living Pearl, Ukraine – 6 year old Alla came to Living Pearl 5 months ago and we discovered that she had a serious problem with her vision in one of her eyes. She was taken to the doctor who diagnosed it as complex keratitis of the eye which can cause blindness if not treated. Because of our generous partners, the money was raised for her to make the trip from Onufrievka to Odessa, Ukraine to have surgery on her cornea . Now, after having the surgery her vision has improved to 30% and her treatment will continue. We are believing God for total restoration of her eyesight! We are so thankful that God brought her to Living Pearl to be loved and cared for and so grateful to you, our partners for your willing hearts to meet this crucial and urgent need in Alla’s life!
