About
Impact Club is a program of Global Impact that teaches school children to be aware of human trafficking and equip them preventive tools from such abuses through stories and fun games.
DepEd Recognized Program
Global Impact’s Impact Club is recognized by the Department of Education Division of Davao City. This school year we have seven clubs and reach over 250 children each week in Davao public Elementary School.
“Watch out for Wolves”
The “Watch out for Wolves” of Impact Club is curriculum developed and used by Global Impact in spreading awareness on Human trafficking. For 10 weeks, the children were taught about the practical ways in identifying the behaviors of a trafficker and how to be safe from them. Also, the lesson were done in fun and interactive way through story telling, drama, fun games and songs. Impact Club believes that the children’s safety starts at home.
Thus, the curriculum also teaches the importance of their own bodies and how to be safe from physical abuse from their own home nad community. Also incorporated are positive and Christian values that lead them to know the love of Jesus Christ. These are done regularly every Wednesday in partner school in Davao City. After completing 10 sessions, the children were given Certificates of Completing.

Volunteerism
Impact Club is also an avenue for those who want to volunteer. Volunteers are given proper training and orientation prior to sessions so that they are able to fully support the staff and provide the children excellent service that is translated to positive learning experiences.
This year, through the partnership of Global Impact and international youth organization – AIESEC of Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU), students from Sweden, Mainland China, Germany, Egypt, India, Turkey, Japan and Cambodia spent their volunteer works through Impact Club.
Every week, these international students go to schools, teaching them, telling stories about what their country look like, teaching them songs and dances of their respective countries.
