The Philippines has been battered with what is said to have been the most powerful storm ever to make landfall.Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) has caused mudslides, flooding and massive devastation.

The destruction of property and loss of life is widespread and the Filipino people need our help. Thankfully everyone here at the Global Impact base in Davao are safe.

Global Impact is actively working with it’s local partners, Maharlika Charity Foundation (medical and surgical foundation) and Love Iloilo Project to efficiently and effectively deliver relief into the most devastated areas of central philippines.

Donations of the following amounts could provide these relief goods: 

 Food and Supplies:

$8 – water purification tablets for 10liters of water
$30 – 1 sack of rice
$50 – 71 bath soap/ 80 bars of laundry soap
$100- 88 units of 200g powdered milk/milo
$250 – 1250 packs of noodles
$500- 571 big cans of sardines
$1000- 615 medium cans of corned beef
$2500 – 2564 packs of matches and candles

Medical:

$30 – tetanus vaccination (1 person)
$100 – wound dressing kit (10 people)
$200 – sutures for wounds (24 people)
$350 – antibiotics for wound, lung and intestinal infections (50 people)
$750 – general medicine (100 people)
$1250 – fuel for a generator to power a mobile surgical unit for one week
