Annual Christmas Outreach

Annual Christmas Outreach

Showing God’s love and compassion to orphaned, abandoned and impoverished children by providing gifts, treats, food and necessities at Christmas time each year in Mongolia, Pakistan, Ukraine and the Philippines.

Burma

1998 – Global Impact’s First Christmas Outreach was conducted in a Burmese orphanage bringing Christmas gifts to orphans and spreading the gospel and love of Jesus to the community.

Mongolia

Christmas Outreaches partnered with missionaries in the country focused on meeting the most pressing physical needs of children – some orphans, some homeless – and needy families. Warm clothing & shoes to protect them from the harsh winters was the primary concern as well as sacks of coal or firewood. Food, diapers and blankets and small Christmas gifts were also shared with the message of JESUS.

Pakistan

Partnered with local Christian pastors who visited nearby villages to reach poor and needy families. An important theme in these poor communities is to emphasize the precious value of each person to Christ. Hope was given in the way of Christmas gifts such as clothing, shoes, food, notebooks for school, and treats. Children whose lives endure much hardship were able to celebrate Christmas with joy.

Philippines

Christmas outreaches were conducted in the local schools, at shelters with war evacuees and with inmates in city jails.

Ukraine

Added to annual Christmas Outreaches in 2003. Project Ukraine, launched in 2004, distributed 500 bags to street children filled with essential items like toothbrushes, soap, food and clean shirts. Kids of Living Pearl Children’s Home not only received gifts and winter clothing but also participated in outreaches themselves, reaching others in their community with the joy and hope of the season.
